Last weekend we had some fun at a couple "Easter parties"(as Kayla called them). First was an egg hunt with MBASA. There were SO many kids there but everyone still managed to get 8 eggs which was plenty for little Kayla. The best part of the day was when the Easter bunny came. He was up on the stage so you couldn't see him very well. Kayla was so excited that after he announced they could go hunt eggs she wouldn't leave and started to cry for the Easter bunny. I convinced her to go but later in the hall we saw the Easter bunny and I tried to get her to go see him for a picture and she started crying saying "scary Easter Bunny". His face was painted white and black and she did not like it. She got super distracted watching all the kids around her so this video of her before the hunt isn't great but I thought I'd throw it in cuz we have to have a "hopping" video every year.
Opening them and "dump, dump, dump" into the bucket
Running (Literally!) past the "scary Easter Bunny"
The next day we had an Easter Party at my parents house:
More eggs!
Jer was proud of her nice stance (or whatever you call it).
Kayla looking pretty in her Easter dress before church. (Thanks for the hand-me-downs Jen!)

Fun Fun Fun! Kayla looks so much bigger than when I just saw her at Christmas. I am so excited to come. I can't believe you really are going to have a baby any day now. It probably won't be real to me until I am there. Kayla looks so pretty in her Easter dress and did mom cut her hair?? It was hard to tell in the picture but it looks really really short. Good luck with everything and see ya soon.
We're glad we got to celebrate Easter with you guys this year. This morning my phone rang before 8am and I was positive it was you. I ran to get it, and sadly it was just my friend wanting to run. But we are excited and ready for the call.
looks like some fun Easter parties. Can't wait to see pics of baby #2, If she looks anything like her big sis. she'll be a cutie!
oh she looks soo cute in her Easter dress! I can't wait to meet the new little one! Good luck with everything!
Such a pretty, cream, Easter dress!
:)
We miss you guys down south and look forward to the news any time now.
We are doing well, and just so you know Kayla, all of us agree, including Ethan, that the Easter Bunny is the scariest of all the holiday "characters" we parents try to convince you are real. Then when your old enough, we tell you differently!
Jason, Jochabel, Ethan and Rena!
I can't believe how grown up Kayla looks in that Easter dress. She is such a cutie!
