SNOW!

Last Saturday it snowed enough to stick to the ground so we decided (to be the only ones in the neighborhood excited enough) to go play in it.

Jeremy's big smile is the result of throwing a snowball at me when I opened the door. (I was not smiling)

Watching Kayla experiance SNOW!

Jeremy loading her up with ammunition...

...and the throw is good! If you look closely on the left you can see the snowball in flight.

Stomp, Stomp, Stomp

Building a snowman...which Kayla thought was a tower
and kicked it over before Jer could get too far.

Jer laid down to make a snow angel and Kayla ran over and laid on him.
I'm not sure who had more fun in the snow...Jeremy or Kayla.

Yes, Jeremy is shoveling the 10th of an inch of snow off our driveway. He needs the practice though...I've practiced plenty in my lifetime.

Kayla being a big helper...I couldn't resist buying her this shovel! (When I put it in the cart at the store she hugged it and wouldn't let go.)

Kayla had snow on her glove and was pretty worried about it and kept asking me to get it "off". I think she may have some "Nevada weather" blood in her.

THE Ultrasound...

We had our 20 week ultrasound yesterday. We are excited to announce that we are expecting another GIRL!
Outside view...
Inside view! She wouldn't cooperate for a good profile picture (neither would Kayla) so this is the best we got. She kept smashing her face into the placenta.

Fingers!
So far she looks healthy and growing beautifully!

My belly is definitely bigger then this picture shows! Jeremy was being a very kind photographer.

Trip to Zion

My family took a trip down to Zion for a few days and were kind enough to invite us to come along. So, in spite of Jeremy's school work, we decided to go enjoy some beautiful Fall weather in the south. We had a great time hiking, picnicking, making cards, and of course playing games. As always, here are some pics from the trip:

Becky, Lyndee, my Mom, Kayden, Karissa, Keyana, Kayla (I know it's a few "k's") and I went on the gateway to the narrows walk while Jeremy, my Dad, the older kiddos, Jennifer and her older kids did a 5 mile hike on the East side. Here is a video of the kids throwing rocks in the river. They loved it and just kept throwing them over and over for like 20 minutes.

Thanks for the fun trip Mom and Dad! It was fun to see you Becky and Jennifer!

Halloween

I am a little late on the blogging but here are some pictures from Halloween. Jeremy's parents came to visit for the weekend and Kayla had so much fun spending time with them. (we did too!)

A couple nights before Halloween we went to a MBA Halloween party. We were baseball fans...I know we are so creative. (Jer won't dress up as the bee keeper)

Kayla was a bee this year. I had fun making her a little bee tutu. She wouldn't keep her antennas on so I went with the "natural" antennas.
On Halloween night we started by going to a trunk-or-treat with my family. It was fun to see all the "kiddos" dressed up and visit with my family.

Vance and Lisa were there sporting the hoodie ghost look. (j/k guys!)

Kayla caught on quickly to the "grab a handful" technique.

There was another little bee there that Kayla decided to give some of her treats to.

Us with Jer's parents

After that we went home and had some delicious chili that Grandma Peggy made for us and Kayla bundled up to go do a little trick or treating around the neighborhood.

Kayla wouldn't say "trick-or-treat" she would just say "treat" but she would always say thank you.

She had to carry her bag and her pumpkin light herself. (Thanks for the cute light and halloween gifts Grandma Peggy!)

We love her face as I dumped out half her candy.

The apple she picked out and the suckers were her favorite...to hold at least....we took all the suckers out and gave them away...sorry Kayla...you'll thank us later when you go to the dentist.

Boo! at the Zoo

The Saturday before Halloween we took Kayla to the zoo for the first time. It was also the day at the zoo were you dress up and the kids can trick-or-treat around the zoo. Kayla loved it all; the animals, the costumes, the treats, and the train ride! It was a beautiful day and we had fun spending it together.

Another good one...
