Congratulations Steve and Jenna!!.....and Weston?!

My brother Steven is engaged! He proposed to his girlfriend Jenna on Valentine's Day. Valentine's Day one year ago is when they officially started dating so it was their one year mark, plus Valentine's Day, and now it is their engagement day, how special!! The whole proposal was so cute that I have to share it with everyone.

After a fun day getting pedicures and mini golfing together, Steve took Jenna to their favorite restaurant where Steve had this table specially prepared before hand.
After they ate dinner and where walking through the restaurant Steve said he didn't have his keys and must have left them on the table outside so they went back out to get them and on the table was a red box for Jenna. She opened it and found....

.....a puppy! (She has been wanting a puppy.) But this wasn't all....around his neck was a ribbon and if you look closely there is a ring on the ribbon!
Jenna didn't notice the ring at first. They took the puppy over to a bench and sat down to play with the puppy. Then, when she noticed the ring, Steve took the ring and asked her to marry him.

Isn't that the cutest proposal!! (Steve looks so proud of himself in this picture..he he)

Congrats Steve, Jenna, and Weston!!! We are excited to have Jenna join our family in June and we can't wait to met little Weston!

Yummy!

We had a really fun Valentine's weekend. I enjoyed baking sugar cookies, chocolate covered strawberries and cream puffs on Thursday and Friday so we could celebrate all weekend long with goodies galore! I made this platter and surprised Jeremy at work on Friday.

Of course I made enough for us to enjoy with some friends after dinner on Friday night, at dinner at Jer's parent's on Saturday night and for my young women's class on Sunday. (I wasn't kidding when I said we enjoyed them all weekend long!) Jeremy was nice and took Kayla and I to breakfast on Saturday morning so I could take a break from the kitchen. We hope everyone had a dun weekend spent with the one's they love!
