Avely

It has been a short three and a half months since Avely joined our family; so short that I have failed to adequately post about our growing little girl. I wanted to post at least a monthly update but I definitely fell short of that so here is a little catch up:
Two week old carrot top.

Three weeks old

One month old
We blessed her at 5 weeks old but I got these pictures taken at six weeks old when we were in Vegas for a week.

Seven weeks in Minneapolis.

Her hair sticks up in the back and no matter what I do it won't stay down.

Surfing the web with dad. Eating those hands of course.

At two months she was in the 75th percentile for her height and weight. She slept for about 7-8 hours at night. Began to smile, coo and laugh.

Getting stronger!

Yep, she sucks her thumb. I don't know what we do to make our kids suck their fingers or thumb but apparently it's a family thing. This was the first time she got a hold of it.

I think it is safe to say that she has blue eyes.

Happy Fourth of July!

Smiley girl at three months old
(if you look at her hand she is doing a little "what's up" wave)

She is a mild and sweet baby. She is beginning to self soothe with her thumb although she still likes me to hold her and rock her for a couple minutes to get her settled down. She only fusses when she's hungry or tired (or Kayla hits her) :)

Her hair is still orange in the sun light but is looking more blonde/brown everyday. Her little eyebrows are a light orange and they look great with her blue eyes. She loves to grab the toys on her bouncy chair and has very good hand/eye coordination.
We love this precious girl!

She is adorable Janessa! She has already changed so much! I can't believe she is sleeping that much at night! Yay for Avely! I am still getting up every 2 hours at night.

So sweet. I think she is looking more and more like Kayla. You guys definitely know how to make cute girls! We can't wait to see all of you in a month.
