Catch up: July stuff

Here is some of the things we have been doing during the busy month of July.

We went to a 51's baseball game with some friends from our ward. It was really hot but we enjoyed the time together as a family! We had great seats under the fanned covering thanks to Jeremy's dad. Thanks Jon! Kayla started eating cereal...well she eats whatever she can keep in her mouth!

I throw a family bridal shower for my soon to be sister-in-law Sarah with the help of both families. Here's a picture of all the yummy desserts I made. I enjoyed baking and planning for the party. Can you guess what the wedding colors are...! So pretty!

The beautiful bride to be!
The following Tuesday it was off to Duck Creek in Cedar Canyon for YW girls camp for the next four days! After much pondering and prayer I decided I needed to go even though I would have to leave Kayla. Because of my sweet sister, mother-in-law, and husband, I was able to spend time with the girls in my ward and hopefully fulfill my calling a little better. Thanks for taking care of Kayla everyone! I knew she was in good hands and I don't even think she missed me! Here are some pictures from camp. My battery died half way through the week. I didn't get pictures of some of the fun things we did like, river rafting, horseback riding, caving crawling (yes, Kristin and Ashley, I lead all the girls through that skinny cave we went through in college! Do you remeber how terrified we were!)

Me and some of the other leaders on the hike to Cascade Falls

Me and Shalyce on the hike (one of the sweet mia maids)

Crazy girls! (there was about 19 girls)

Beautiful Cedar Mountain

Getting ready to watch the skits (which were all very creative and funny!) The YCL's made fun of the leaders in their skit and I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!

On Thursdsay night, Jeremy, Kayla, and his parents came up to Duck Creek to stay the weekend at Jeremy's Grandma's cabin which is just a couple miles from were I was camping at so after we cleaned up camp Saturday morning, I stayed up there Saturday and Sunday and enjoyed the mountain with my family too.

Jer took Kayla on a ride! It was only in a small circle going very slow but I was still not happy about it!

I was equally freaked out when Jer and Grandpa were teaching her how to shoot the be be gun. They assured me there is no recoil and be be guns don't make any noise when you shoot. They are still crazy!
