June and July 2011

I wanted to post a few pictures of our (second) Minnesota summer. We played sooo much! That is what I blame for my blog slacking. We enjoyed parks, lakes, swimming ponds, kid concerts, making friends, and a tiny bit of getting settled; but, mostly playing cuz I figured I have a looong winter to organize closets :)

The girls enjoyed their "houses" that daddy made for them all summer.

A Summer Sunday

I love these guys!

Movie night with our neighbors. (They have two boys a year older then our girls.)

For the Fourth of July, Vance and Lisa invited us to met them in Wisconsin at Lisa's parents house for a nice getaway. It was so great to see family and to "make" new family. Lisa's family was so great and Kayla told everyone at Church that Sunday that she was there visiting her second Grandma. So cute. We had a really great trip! (until Kayla throw up all the way home...poor girl!)

We also met up at a fourth of July Parade with my cousin Ashli and family. Kayla thinks her 2nd cousins Kade and Ky are so funny :)

Avely feeding Llamas at a cute little zoo.

Vance and Lincoln. Like Father like Son!

Hanging out with "Grandma" Kristen and "Grandpa" Chris in their beautiful backyard.

Sparklers!

Just playing in outside.
(Pretending they know how to ride bikes; we are working on it.)

We had fun with you guys. It was so fun to meet you guys in Oshkosh, Wisconsin!! Glad you guys are enjoying Minnesota too. I love boxes for your little girls. Sometimes I wonder why we spend so much money on other toys for our kids when boxes work so well! Love and miss you guys. Your girls continue to become more beautiful. You are such great parents.

Your girls are getting so big! It looks like you have been having an awesome summer filled with tons of fun activities. Those box forts look pretty cool, I'm pretty sure Steve wants to play in them just as much as your girls did!
