Kayla's First Birthday

On Kayla's First Birthday she had an eventful day to celebrate. Grandma Peggy came down and we all went to lunch at Coyotes. Kayla loved the Mexican food! Then we went shopping at Target to pick out some new outfits/shoes for Kayla. She was tired form her long day on the town and took a long afternoon nap. Thanks for coming and spending the day with Kayla Grandma! She had a lot of fun. Then Jeremy and I made a spaghetti dinner for her and after, she had cake, of course.
Kayla's mini rainbow cake

She must have been embarrassed from all the hype Jer and I were making because she was hiding.

She came out of hiding when we started to sing and she could smell the cake!

Her little hands were packed with cake! Until she could unload them into her mouth. She loved the cake!

What an adorable mess.

She was so proud of herself. We all had a fun day celebrating her first year.

THE PARTY

Then on Saturday, we had a little party with our family's.

I can't believe I forgot to take a picture of the cupcakes! So, here is a picture of the table decor, etc.

We went to a park and ate lunch, played games (guess Kayla's weight and height, how many cheerios, how far can she go, who does she love) and opened presents. It was such a beautiful day!

Uncle Jason playing tennis-baseball with Jer.

Everybody hanging out

Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Stephen with Kayl....wait that's Solo their dog...not Kayla.

She opened some clothes and knew right were to put them.

Thanks to our family's who came out and made Kayla's first birthday truly special! We appreciate all the love and support you have shown her. We know this will continue to make a difference in her life as she grows up surrounded by people that love her. Thanks again for coming to the party and for your thoughtful gifts, even though they were not needed!
